DTD £250,000 GTD Grand Prix 22-29 Sept (£50,000 GTD for 1st)

My original plan was to play both live flights on Friday, but after playing both live flights on Thursday, I've decided to play them online instead.  The first flight lasted 10.5 hours, so if people are planning to play the later flight, it could be a really late one.

I was unsuccessful in both flights, anyone get through in the second flight? Id be interested to know what time it finished.

These have been finishing around 4.30am, so only for the night owls and insomniacs.

ben it finished at about 4.30 lol but i made it through with 139k so worth it, ul with your attempts last night was u playing hands like 6-2!? lol . was home bed by 5am ish and up at 7am for work!.....back again tonight i will not be defeated

Is it definitely the case that if I reg the 7pm live leg and can't get to the club at the end of level 8 my chips will then go into play? Just need top know in case I go deep in the 9pm online Day 1.

I got my buyin back from Flight 1

I got a 85k stack through from Flight 2

Then nothing from Flights 3-10


They are certainly playing differently since players have started to try to merge stacks, and a chunk of the field are playing either from the 1p sats or the cash table freebies.

It's the same for everyone, but feel for those guys that supported the initial satellites for weeks and weeks and haven't got through yet.

I don't know how DTD will ever get players to play these early
I had 14 entrys as worked out that's what I could play 12 on line and 2 live last week end  
will finishing playing tonight (have not made day 2 ) and will end up with one unused as got an extra one from devil fish promo that I didn't want / need

Will be interesting to see how they will configure the next GP tbh I don't think I'll bother early on if I can get goes for 2p a time

The way its gone this week it may put players off playing early sats in the hope of getting in
for far less outlay the week before a GP or a Deepstack competition.

Great value again from DTD but they could be making a rod for their own back with future promotions.

The first penny roll will run, has over 100 runners

remember, you can only register one at a time, so when you are knocked out register for the next and so on


bookiebasher makes a good point, would very much regard this as a one off though. I hesitate to say value never to be repeated with DTD, but this is a real attempt at hitting 5000 runners...
