I actually took this exact line in very similar spot a few weeks ago when I was grinding with Franky and we bought thought it was a pretty cool spot to turn our hand into a bluff.
Seems pretty cool to me.

What range are you putting him on patrick if you're bluffing? The difficulty is that 1. He may put you on a busted draw and 2. we're assuming mr NY is good enough to fold a better 2pair+ when he should
