It could happen...DTD are laying a £50,000 sponsorship deal on the table for a golden chip entered winner of the grand Prix.

Stupendous, amazing, unreal, WTF etc. etc. all for a £50 tournament.

So the question is this...what tournaments would you like to play and how often if it was you...time to dream.

Please state if you are recreational, amateur or pro so we can all get some idea of what tournaments blondes would be aiming for.

for the sake of the thread lets use the following groups (not strictly speaking correct I know but near enough for comparisons).

recreational...likes to play live every few weeks and never relies on poker to pay the bills.
amateur...likes to play live at least every week if not 2-3 times a week but probably works aswell
pro...likes to play live nearly every day and uses their poker to pay the bills etc.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

smurf - recreational

I honestly wouldn't have a clue where to start, I think I would enter all DTD £300 buy ins, look for other £300-£500 tournies around the UK to get a bit more experience then further down the line look to enter some £1K tournies.

The end goal would be a few weeks in vegas to play several $1K or $1.5K wsop events.

Any tournaments abroad would be based around a holiday...so for example if I wanted to enter any caribbean adventure side events i'd probably want 2 weeks holiday with a week or so to play poker in between.

I would never be able to play every week due to work and family so would play every 3 weeks or so...this would probably mean the £50K would stretch well past a year.

fire away...it could be you!

side rule...let's not get too bitchy with each other...anyone could win it   thumbs up

There's a joke there somewhere. Not quite sure what it is but I know it's there.

I'd place myself in the rec category. I think I'd mix an element of BRM with a few one-off shots that I'd otherwise never get to play, so...

- DTD £300-500 deepstacks & GUKPTs would probs account for £25k
- remaining £25k would go into WSOP ME & 2 EPTs (probs Barcelona & Prague), with the change covering spends/accomm  Cheesy

Chance would be a fine thing...
