Sky were apparently going to name the episodes like they did in Friends but they realised they couldn't name them all The One Where Flushy Gets There And Wins All The Money.

Just watched a few episodes, not fantastic viewing. Hard to make cash games for people who don't really care if they win or lose interesting. I suspected £5/£5 is pocket change games for these lot. Are sky happy with the feedback from these shows? How about putting a few 10c / 25c cash game players in (who win some kind of comps on sky poker) and rolling them with 4-5k and mix it up a little. Even better would be putting some of the presenters in, much more entertainment seeing them get felted then someone.

Don't want to be negative, just its nothing new or groundbreaking.

Yeh if it's for sky players then I understand. If its on sky sports for people who are newish to the game don't really understand the inclusions of Scotty or sam1986. Neil, Dempsey and Sam all made
For it obv.

Nothig against the sky 2, especially Scotty who is a great lad and I like him alot but 30% of the players just being solid and tightish/std is t going to be great viewing.

I thought grafton played very well btw was impressed. Dempsey has the style that you just hate to play against in deep live cash games too and played v well too IMO.

We have asked this next door before on the first series. Would defo be more entertaining if you put a few fish in like me, even if its a through qualifying in a similar way to a roller etc sats to get a roll of £1k + would be fun. I defo would give it a good crack!

Fwiw sam Baylis seemed really really good and must be nice to be Dempsey.

Felt for Scotty at the end.

Was a fun game and enjoyed it bar the big loss.  Got so destroyed by Dempsey but he ran pretty well too.  Felt I deserved to lose tho, def didn't play great.  Hand I'm actually most unhappy about is the AK < AQ hand early on v Sam Grafton on the AxTc9cQx board.

Second time playing in a live studio environment and felt so much more comfortable this time, but equally every loss/bad play/mistake hurts that bit more because you know its gonna be around for as long as people care to watch it.

Know for a fact  that production team at Sky do look at all the feedback and take it into account for future shows, and of course as time goes on the technical side of the process becomes far easier too.

Oh and Sam Bayliss is incred in so many ways.  I spend 5-10 mins in makeup, he was in for about 5 seconds with an airbrush haha!  Such a nice guy too and great on a night out.

I have to disagree with some of these comments in this thread.  I personally think its been a great series, you need 1/2 characters I.e Sam & Neil and flushy was good to watch as he was always giving action, then u had a couple of tighter players for balance.

I felt really sorry for Neil in the beginning with the sick beats but its at that point where he is getting out of it, so hopefully by the end he does. Also really felt for Scotty, nothing seemed to go his way and when he got it in good seemed to get
Outdrawn, I guess that's poker but wasn't nice to see as he's such a nice boy.

I feel all the players gave a decent balance, I've just been watching the 1st series with rob young in it and was actually getting irritating near the last couple of episodes where all he seems to do is create action, yet literally no one seems to give him any back unless they have it ofc which looked pretty boring and frustrating to watch.

At least with this episode you have all players mixing it up, loads more bluffs bein made and lots of interesting and funky stuff, also u get to see the disciplined side to players. I.E Sam & flushy on seperate occasions calling turns to hit flushes and getting there on river then just calling opponents bets. You get to see a variety of hands being played, different styles, think its a good show to learn about cash games tbh.

I do think sky poker should look to do something like satellite entry's for a 1/2k bankroll to appear on the show for next series. You could get 5/6 different players on that would play against the pros, then whoever made the most money could have the chance to A) keep there profit or B) let it ride and gamble it in the final episode.

They had a show like that in the USA, and I for one would defiantly look to try and qualify if the opportunity presented itself.

Hard for those at Sky as some people want the game to be really high stakes for the players involved which would mean it played more tight, others wanna see the splashing around. FWIW think me and Flushy did take it super-serious. The money is by no means insignificant, but above all else it's professional pride.
