Withdrawing money to an old card

Has anybody any experience of this? Basically on a sportsbook site/poker site when you get a new debit card linked to the same bank but have a net deposit balance on the other one, ie need to win 5k or so to be level on the card, so if 3 months later you withdraw it sends 5k to both cards.

Basically how long does old card take to go through? Or how do you chase it? As my new card withdrawal came through as expected and been ages for old one already.

Just had this.  The withdrawal to the old card took a couple of days longer to the old card with Hills. 

If it is Ladbrokes, they took about 20 days to get to me.  When I spoke to them to ask they said their target was 10 working days, and they didn't even achieve that.

Both were current and had expiry dates after today.

  Somebody stole some money from my bank account, so got a card replacement.  A few bookies insisted the withdrawals went to the old card number first.  I have got all the money now, but was definitely a sweat with Ladbrokes!

OK cheers, basically similar, bank had to send new card and number even tho the other one was in date. Its not Ladbrokes so will let u know how long it took. Assume no point chasing it up or anything?

I chased both Ladbrokes and the Bank.  The bank said it should get to the right number in the end just may take a bit longer.  I was pretty shocked how long Ladbrokes were aiming for,I was assuming g it was sent and had got lost.  Pm me the bookie and will check if I took a withdrawal from them to the old card and let you know how long it took.

Not withdrawn from Stars for a long time.  Rubs all over the boards today!  Can only judge on Hills as I got a split withdrawal,  so know it took longer to the old number.

It will probably go through automatically, but my cash once got stuck in a "suspense" account at Barclays and I had to phone up to get it released.  Give it 10 working days and then phone the bank.

I am with Barclays, it goes through automatically as your card number is linked with your account number. Each time, I always get a letter from Barclays asking if it is a legitimate transaction due to the card being no long in force. If you ignore this, they still put it through.
