Why do they not put on any Holdem 2 day events on a Friday/Saturday good to see one Holdem event on a Saturday though.

As a recreational player would much rather play a 2 day event on a Friday or Saturday.

Well sort of...when you bust someone, you win some of their bounty, and the rest gets added to your own bounty.

Saw lots on 2+2 about the main event moving from 5k to 10k. What's people's thoughts on the move?

Probably bad. Scoop main is 10k, think 5k was a lot better, always got massive fields

PokerstarsSteve223: Bryan, any big changes for the WCOOP this year?

PokerStarsBryan6262: No not really. Why change anything when it works so well?

PokerstarsSteve223: Yeah. sheets once told me that there are 2 big mistakes you can make in business: 1 is taking a bad idea and continuing to do it, and 2 is taking an idea which works perfectly and change it.

PokerStarsBryan6262: Who is sheets?

PokerstarsSteve223: Never mind.....anyway I had an idea...How about releasing that the main is a 10k?

PokerStarsBryan6262: hahaha yeah right....that's horrible.

PokerstarsSteve223: Well obviously making the main 10k is horrible, but we just tell everyone it will be 10k.

PokerStarsBryan6262: huh?

PokerstarsSteve223: Then when all the regs and experts and people bitch about it, we move it back to 5k, giving the illusion that we listen to the players, and we come out like geniuses.....again.

PokerStarsBryan6262: Wow that is so evil....

PokerstarsSteve223: I am the best.

Why is the 5card O8 a 6max 2r1a and the 4 card variants just get a 320 for plo8 and 215 for nlo8. Where is the fun in that. At least i can go on holiday now! Never really been around a WCOOP before but shouldn't they be bigger buyins then the weeklys? I imagined O8 would get at least a PL and NL that was 500+  buyin. World Championship ffs.

I heard the 10k been moved back to a 5 now? Good if so

Progressive KO tournaments are so so fun and shove/calling rages can get absurd quick.

Progressive KO ante up would be amazing.

Can't wait to drop table count way down and have some fun playing

Hello again, everyone.

First and foremost, thank you for the feedback in this thread, in PMs, in emails, etc.... it's greatly appreciated. We've been working on the schedule and have it pretty much nailed down at this point.

We're now working on getting everything ready in time for a planned WCOOP launch on August 8th. We've made quite a number of changes from the last release (Version 9, internally... this final schedule is Version 12), most notably of putting the Main Event back to $5,200, adding the WCOOP KickOff (Event 01), replacing the 10-Max shooutout with a $1,050 NLHE 2-Day event, putting the High-Rollers back to $10,300, and bumping up a couple of the Saturday Super-Knockout replacements. We've also tweaked some times here and there to make the schedule work better overall. Again, thank you for the input!

This year's schedule is below, 99.99% set in stone. The schedule of 2nd Chance tournaments will be released later. Guarantees will be published when the tournaments go live in the client on or about August 8th. Between now and the launch date, we are taking a very hard look at all of the settings, tournament by tournament, day by day... in particular making sure that we have the 2-Day settings correct (for example).

Sick one of the H/Ls isnt in a planned holiday period now.

Obv way off topic but does anyone know how much a dongle for Europe would cost? Only need it for le pokes so not too worried and preferably an allowance for rare usage would be sweet.
