Back from London and although I didn't get the lot, i'm definitely going to be looking at making more regular trips there.
Ended up losing a small amount overall on the trip after 2 winning nights and then losing on the final night when deciding to punt on 2/5 with the big boys
Probably wasn't the best idea especially when I was constantly getting 3bet and cold 4bet with

One of the best things about London was the availability of games at almost every point of the day which is pretty uncommon in the rest of the UK. For example we got to the Vic at 3pm on Thursday and there were already 6 games going which was really good. You would have thought that it would just be pros playing in games at that point in the day but it was actually a good mix of players.
Throughout the trip I did manage to do my brains on massages which at the time didn't seem like a great deal of money but when I added it up at the end of the trip it's actually a ridiculous amount and definite spew that I need to try and avoid next time!
Got back at lunch time yesterday after playing all night and then getting a lift back with Stato. Because of check-out times at the hotel, i'd only had about 3 hours sleep in the last 48 hours and then had to endure Mitch and Stato singing along to the entire Elton John album on the drive home, which me and PJ weren't overly enthused about...
Went straight to bed when I got back and then got up at 6 to go for a Nandos with a mate from Boston. He said he hadn't played poker in a long time and fancied a game so I offered to put him in the 1/1 game with a few £50 bullets to see if he could spin it up but unfortunately for the both of us he ran terribly and ended up doing 5 bullets. Marv. Despite this I still managed to lock up a winning night at both DTD and Gala.
Time to watch the latest episode of Suits and then head down to DTD for some cash and hopefully see Flanagan and whoever else is playing make day 2 of the deepstack!
