Really enjoying Barcelona so far despite playing very little poker and that which I have played hasn't yielded the best results!
When we arrived we decided to flip for beds as there is one really nice room on the top floor of the apartment and then a bowl room with bunk beds on the lower floor. Lucky Mitch obv boxed the top floor and me and Simon were left with this room. Certainly cosy to say the least!

Have spent the last few days exploring parts of the city, going to the beach and checking out Barcelona's restaurants. Decided yesterday that I probably wouldn't need sun cream as we weren't going to the beach for long and I could do with a bit of colour anyway. [ ] Good read. Great beach though and definitely want to go again. Would have taken some pics of it however it was a topless beach so that might have been frowned upon

Afterwards I went and registered for the 300 mini event after missing out on the 1k the day before. Was pretty tilted by that as I was only a few mins too late before they cut off the queue for registration. Deadman made a pretty deep run in it but got pretty unlucky about 100 runners out to not go further.

So grinded that and was double average before the second break but then sit down and snap lose half my stack with AK < 77 and then grind 10-15bbs before jamming 13bbs in the cutoff with 22 to only be snapped off by the old lady in the bb with 33
GG me.
After having some wine last night, I suggested to Alex that we set up a womens only stable and stake women to play the various ladies events around the world. I then wake today to a message from Alex saying that we've put our first horse into the 300euro EPT womens event
Ah well, Victoria seems pretty excited about it and if she's as good at poker as she is at OFC, we should have a good chance at binking.
Going to go try and get on the cash game list now which has been a nightmare the whole trip with about a 4 hour waiting list most days. Alex and myself managed to get near the top of the list on Thursday only to be told that we had missed our chance by getting a drink from the bar and that we would have to sign up again. Marv.
