Players get a break - and so do we.  But they're just coming back now - so until the short stack actually loses an all-in, expect more of the same...

Mads doubles up with QQ against Marc's KJ (a real big hand for once).

Marc moved all in under the gun - Mads was the caller with his pocket Ladies and

Blinds are a huge 30k - 60k ante 6k, so there'll be a move from Marc any minute.....

Marc Naalden OUT in 3rd for £65,823

Marc
Mads

The nine of hearts was the decider as the board came:

So after approximately two years, we are heads up here in Copenhagen, but Mads is a chip Monster.

Heads up counts -

Norsemen Rep Edgar Skjervold - 1,260,000
Mads Andersen - 1,565,000

So my top two are looking spot on Wink

Edgar wins a reasonable-sized pot - - they both check a  three diamonds flop.  Edgar bets 70k on the  turn, and 110k on the  Two Clubs river, being check-called by Mads all the way.

Edgar shows a winning  to take the pot.

Well, it's not the quick conclusion we sort of figured - just now Edgar was pushed off a raise by Mads' moving in...

Then after a smooth call/check combo preflop, a flop came of .  Edgar checks, Mads bets 70k, call
  on the turn, check-check
River:      Edgar checks, Mads bets 60k, and gets called.  Edgar's Q4 is good!

How about this one?

Board  after a checked flop.  Mads check-raised Edgar's 70k bet to 250k, and then passed when Edgar moved in.  It looks like the upper hand is edging Norway's way (Woody is beside himself)

Key hand Brought By Britta:

As seems quite a popular choice, it was a checked flop ( )
Turn:    - Mads bet 60k, Edgar called
River:    - This time Mads bet 200k, and Edgar called with the runner runner 2 pair he'd picked up (J7)

Tom Murphy says that the blinds going up to 40k - 80k is the most interesting thing about this heads up.  Possibly.

I'm still awake!

Wasn't it Mads who won the J7 hand?

Has the 10K krone event finished?
