Poults is a lad, no hating
Used to dislike him but have taken to him a lot over the last few years. Not just for the Ryder cup exploits but does seem fairly good lad.
Someone told me of an interview he did where he was asked "What is the worst thing anyone has said to you?"
He replied "it's still you"
Dunno if it is true but I lolled.
Far far too cocky for my liking.
When he's won a couple of majors he can be cocky, for now: button it lad.
You talk about him as though he were David Bentley cocky.
Poults has not done too badly and is actually a damn fine player who has made the most of his limited talent via an excellent and dedicated work ethic.
He's a genuine family-man and also has an admirable social conscience.
Cocky, yes, but why on earth shouldn't he be?
