Hi Guys,

I believe I have been introduced to most of you through one form or another.

I am DTD's new marketing assistant and am looking to encourage players of all standard to join the club.

One of the projects we are looking at at the moment is boosting the Club's awareness.

As a start I have began to look at the TripAdvisor page for the club and give it a facelift.

http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g186356-d1466976-Reviews-Dusk_till_Dawn-Nottingham_Nottinghamshire_England.html

We would all really appreciate it if players who have visited the club could give good, honest reviews about their experiences.

Thanks,
Glenn

Maybe you should looking into having brand ambassadors in city away from Nottingham,

Sheffield, leeds, hull, manchester, Liverpool so on

They would be in charge of talking to players in there city and telling  people what's on at the club, could also drive people to playing online at DTD!   All it take is them to wear a t- shirt! Maybe they could give out codes so if they sign up to the site you know where it's come from!!

What about the same for in club sign ups also. Eg if someone is "referred" to the club then the person who refers them  may get some sort of bonus when they next come the club. Free meal etc. or after 10 referrals a tournament buy in etc?

What?!  That's a great site if you don't know where to go when you reach a new city.  It's like google for travellers, but BETTER!  Read the reviews (taken with a pinch of salt) and you're good to go anywhere in the world.  It's saved me from booking some dodgy restaurants, B&B's and Hotels that looked pretty online, but turned out to have all sorts of problems.  It's also helped me find some right little gems I never would've considered otherwise.

That said, I've never left a review myself, which is bad form considering how often I use the site.  Suppose today's as good a day as any.

Thanks to those that have contributed and for the kind words.

I will be looking at some of the other suggestions in the coming months and we always welcome feedback/ideas from players.

Thanks,
Glenn.

I have never actually been to DTD so cannot comment unfortunately.

I woud say that you should be more interactive with the reviews left, especially the bad ones. I think it shows that you listen to the customers and will improve service if needed.

Hi guys,

The negative reviews are over a year old so I don't want to back peddle that far.

Plan is to move forward so if anything crops up one of us will look at it and respond.

Feedback appreciated,
Glenn.

It's probably wise to get people to drip feed over a period of time. A lot of people will be suspicious if there is a bunch of new review over a few days.
