Glad to hear you are doing well at the moment Dave.

Just a question if I may be so bold. I was wondering if it is worth working in a small number of the $4.50 non turbo games into sessions where you are going to be playing for a longer time anyway? They seem to be a lot softer than the $2.50 turbos overall, maybe people don't understand the ranges so well in these? Or do they take so long to play it is not worth it even though they are easier. Either way Dave, have very little doubt that you will do well.

These, as with all non turbo games on stars, are defo softer. Less regs and players tend to play too fast in them

Only just seen this thread ~ gl.

Fwiw 500 games a month is no more than moderate and if it doesn't already, will quickly feel like nothing. 6tabling and building up is also abs fine.  A lot of button mashers of yesteryear are now dropping tables in order to make better decisions per table.

I haven't read things in too much detail, but if the 180 grind is a relatively new thing, then I think playing a bunch of them and not losing is a good result.  A free education and all that.  It might not be a great result if you are budgeting to win from the get-go, and in the future, breaking even for a few k games will be an irritation, but for now it helps build a solid foundation for the future.

When you get in profits, assuming you have decent post-flop skills, you might want to consider throwing in some $3Rs rather than the $8s

Would like to play the Sunday Storm and the WCOOP #3 Sat tonight.

Total is $22 and represents fantastic value for such low buyin comps.
Obv the same terms as the Stake we currently have.
I don't think anybody would object but keeping everything above board.
Let me know by 6:45 as we plan to buy in then.

Many Thanks.

Bit late to reply but fine with me!

Unless you've busted already in which case it's a terrible plan.  Grin

Here is the latest update. Played 388 games to the detriment of -$125.88
We are still on target to get 500 games in the first month but will need to increase the volume to get over the variance.
Still enjoying it, also sent a HH to Tomsom for review and sent him a few hands where I wanted to make sure I was correct. I did have 1 mistake that Tomsom advised which has now been busted.

I have attached the Graph of the ups and downs.

Hopefully better update next week.

Going to put a grind in later but want to add some MTT low Buyin's to bink a decent score. Did this last week and just want to give people a heads up on what I plan to add.

18:30 Sunday Storm @ $11
18:50 Bigger $55 Sat @ $11 (20 Seats GTD)
19:00 Bigger 11 @ $11
Total = $33

Please let me know I anybody has any issue with this.

Many Thanks.
