Does Kinboshi know what's best for you?

Kinboshi -Thought it best to move the thread to the Diaries and Blogs board so Sid can regale us with his tales there
What an overreaction, all because I got tired of his continuous allusions to crap. This is the epitome of giving the small man power and how, inevitably, they abuse it.
How did this man become worthy of being an administrator? In the field of administration, what has he actually achieved?
I think it's best that Kinboshi has a moment of retrospection about his need to always have the last word.
I also think he should be made an interlocutor as opposed to an administrator, this course of action to ground him and give him a greater understanding of the human psyche.
It just so happens that this move to the basement section coincides with me leaving for Florida - I have enjoyed my time on Blonde and, if I haven't offended too many people, I hope to return one day; when hopefully Kinboshi has developed a sense of humour, it was also nice to see that some of the incest on the site has dissipated.
All The Best, Sid Harris, El Sid.

Eh? The diary board is more popular than the Lounge board, so thought your thread would be better in there than in the Lounge!

Evening Sid.
I think that is very unfair.
The Diary Board gets far more views than The Lounge, & it has developed into a Diary, & a very interesting, if offbeat & quirky, one. It is NOT a relegation in any way, far from it. The Diary Board has some threads with monsta Post & View counts.
On the FIRST page of your thread, third Post I think, I wrote this.....
If this thread continues in this vein, we'll move it to the Diary section in a day or two.
I have been meaning to do exactly that, but forgot, so blame me, not Kinboshi.
Enjoy Florida, flirt outrageously with your missus, & come back soon to update us on the Super Diet.

Don't be like that Sid, definitely no need to stop posting over a thread being moved!
I love reading your musings, and don't think Kin moving your thread worth worrying about... Essentially it is a diary of sorts, so it wasn't wrong of him to move it, and you're in quite esteemed company over there too.
Have a good holiday and keep us in the loop if you're driving your juicer around Floriday Joe Cross style

Thread kinda reminds me when I worked in a betting shop and a punter asked for 6/4 about a horse. I said "that horse is now 13/8 sir". "I want 6/4!!" he shouted back at me quite aggressively. He got 6/4.

That's pretty much the sum of it, & I'm sure Sid will soon realise, it was a misunderstanding.

Nice to see the vote of confidence in Kinboshi, I'm sure you all go back a long way.
Only turned up here because of the elation attached to some vegetable juice. Had no agenda apart from trying to pass the message on.
To Tikay and Marky all the best.
All the best to Kinboshi and cronies; might have got the wrong end of the stick about the bargain basement move, but if you look closely at the last posts you might understand how that could happen. It has a lot to do with timing and very little to do with the difference in odds of 6/4 and 13/8.
More to do with Kinboshi's frustration because, It turned out that, although I'm capable of writing a lot of crap, I'm not the world's greatest expert on crap and he just couldn't get his head around it.
I will reread - How To Win Friends and Influence People on the flight out, so that if I ever darken your door again I will not take umbrage when it isn't necessary and act
appropriately
in your world.

I'll have one more word Sid, and then you can rant away. I could have moved the thread and not posted the 'Thread Moved' post - but I left it there so that you and everyone else would see where the thread had been moved to - and so MORE people would see it.
Yes, we had some banter on the thread (well, I asked a question and you wouldn't answer it, so I posted a few tounge-in-cheek puns and you responded with similar irreverence). There was no malice on my side, a bit of frustration with someone making fantastic claims without serious evidence to support them, but that's fine. Not sure that your attempted character assassination was called for or it was me that 'took umbrage'.
It's interesting that you've ignored the content of Tikay's post, and the other posts in the thread (not sure why this makes these people 'cronies'?) - and stuck dogmatically to your point of view - something you're accusing me and others of doing. The other interesting thing (or possibly not that interesting) is that I have a juicer and think that juicing can be very beneficial health-wise for many.

Kinboshi - you are so right that it hurts - watch this right the way through and all the pain would have been worth it.

Bimboboshi is a useless admin but he makes a great cup of tea and the rest of the clique need a brew now and then
