call
why?
discount in bb, keep in worse hands, hand too strong to fold and flops well, postflop (hopefully) edge.

What worse hands does he 3.5x off 20bigs? How well does our hand play with an SPR of ~2.75. Postflop edge pretty small when spr is so small, especially oop without betting lead. I'm not trolling here just don't think its even close to a call.

Hand definitely isn't too strong to fold. The bigger bet enables us to make an easier decision. With 20 bigs, we can decide to put the villain to a decision for his tournament and thereby often get some better hands to fold, but there are more persuasive arguments for folding and saving ourselves for better spots.
Out of interest, what would we do in the same spot with:
if jam with nines;
if you pass
?

Fold.
Was talking bout this kinda thing with a few mates. Think in a field like this there are so many more better spots....and a good proportion of the field was pub playerish and just wouldnt 'understand' what your jam means..or do what theyre 'supposed' to do ...
Alot of players seemed to get a hand and 'just went with it'
well were not expecting them to fold better hands, so if they might do something, then its probably going to be a good thing for us.
