Kevin O Leary played the GUKPT at the Vic last week.  Was interviewed by the Tower too, will be on youtube.

Think he's off to Vegas soon.  Had a few dinners with him last year; just said he prefers the atmosphere in Vegas card rooms than UK ones.

hes a moany git nowadays Smiley

What about those Welsh guys who used to knock around with Iwan Jones?

Martin Cavanagh?

Jeff Burke?

Last I heard Martyn was getting the lot clicking.

Jeff retired a couple years back, and I think he's just at home in Wales.

Jeff had a bit of a health scare I believe, but hopefully he is doing better now.

I saw Alan Vinnecombe a few months ago in Bristol Gala. He set up a business or a bar recently and it's taking up all his time.

He still posts quite regularly on here, Dan, under the alias "I KNOW IT". He was one of blonde's very first Members.  (Jan 29th, 2005, day one of blonde Forum!).

He moved to India - Goa maybe? - to run a B & M Cardroom, which did very well, & then, I believe, he moved on, maybe to China, or somesuch?

He's getting along just fine from what I can gather, & often invites me to go see him, but its a bit far for me, I rarely venture further eastwards than Lowestoft these days.

PS - In fact he Posted on this very thread, in December, asking after Taffy & Mick Jones, from Derby, see....
