Some names on that list Dave.

Eric "lowball" Dalby for one.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Mr Dalby at last month's PLO8 tournie at the Vic, I was quite happy to timebank just so I could keep listening to his poker anecdotes.

I saw Alan Vinnecombe a few months ago in Bristol Gala. He set up a business or a bar recently and it's taking up all his time.

Got a lot of time for Alan - had a few fun Euro trips with him back in his heyday smashing up the Eastern Europe tourno scene (him not me obv).

Always got some venture on the go though so sure he's doing just fine.

No. Very clever thoroughly eccentric and outspoken guy was into card-counting and a regular on the poker scene 15/20 years ago, also a top-class bridge player.

I remember he got overpaid by £1K at the cage in Derby when it was still the Hamblin Grand and got banned for refusing to give it back.

I last saw him at Napoleon's Owlerton around ten+ years ago and he said he was living somewhere in Yorkshire.

I know someone asked about Marc Goodwin, but seems only a single sighting.

Anyone know what he is doing? Was really decent to me when I first started playing, even though I was/am a complete poker nobody, and like to think he is doing ok.
