About meI have just moved back to Sheffield to finish my final year of my Maths degree after a year in Nottingham working (Placement @ Experian). Most of my time in the poker world for the last year or two has been concentrating on live poker and have been a regular around Sheffield and Nottingham for the majority of that time. I have been playing poker for 4 years now and played for a living on and off for short periods three or four times during that 4 years but the rest of the time I have been playing as a pass time and for entertainment and of course trying to make some money on the side of university and my career which I have been placing as my number one priority. Due to me moving back to being a student and now not having a job for the first time in two years I am going to have to be a lot more strict with my bankroll over the next 6 months or so hence selling for this now which recently I have been taking more of these “punts” on myself rather than asking for backing.

I will mainly be playing the $7/$8 comps but these may be mixed in with competition’s slightly lower and slightly higher depending on how the week is going ($3 Rebuy etc). I am proposing a 50/50 profit share deal after make-up is cleared. The initial plan is to try this for a week, during the giveaway, and see how it goes. If after the week we are in profit and backers want out at this point, that is ok, if the majority want to continue the deal then it can be continued from this point but the volume may not be as high as during this week. My goal is to play around 500 tournaments during the week, I have not played this kind of volume in a long while but I think it is more than achievable. Im really not sure if 500 is to low or high it just feels the right amount to aim for with the tables I can play etc. I may adjust this goal after the first day on the grind if I look like falling way short or smashing it. I used to be able to grind playing 18-24 tables but I have not done that in a long time and will initially be playing 12-16. If I feel comfortable with this I will step it up towards the end of the week (once I get back into the swing of table ninja!)
This promotion starts at Midnight on Sunday Eastern Time. So 5am our time, this means my plan is to have an early night Sunday and get up and grind Monday morning. I have approximately 15-20 hours of university to attend next week and Friday Afternoon/Friday Night/Saturday Afternoon are off limits also but the rest of the time I will be trying to get in as many 2/3 hour sessions as possible.
The backing deal will initial run from Monday 14th October - Monday 21st October. With prospects to extend if backers would like that.
How it will workI will be clear and up front with my Pokerstars balance. It is likely that I will only have $100~ (of my own money in Pokerstars account) as of Monday and I will post starting balances and closing balances each day. I will only be playing tournaments that are on stake during this week. At the end of the week I will confirm how much profit we have made and also provide a playing audit via Pokerstars so this can be cross checked. I will provide daily session updates onto this post. All bonuses paid out through the promotion and also through and leader board $$$ will be included in this stake.
Cliffs on the deal. I looking for 100% backing with a starting bankroll of $1500. Profit above the $1500 after the first week would then be paid back on a 50/50 profit share. I will be playing 9/18/180 man Turbo Sit and Go’s on Pokerstars.
10% = $150
5% = $75
1%=$15
Money will need to be shipped by 9am Monday morning on either Pokerstars or via Bank.
