Thanks to everyone on Herbie's behalf. We've raised £70 on his behalf. Some prisoners are only allowed £15.50 per week max and some are allowed more, not totally sure which category he falls into but sure he will be over the moon.
I was actually quite surprised that prisons have supermarkets in them selling all the normal stuff and their stuff is actually cheaper than on the outside! A marsbar is only 48p, it's like being in 2001 again!
Other things are like:
£1 per week for TV
£1 for toothpaste etc
although I think most of his money will go on phone credit from the sound of it.
Whatever he spends it on i'm sure he will be much happier and appreciate it loads.

Right, letter is printed off and I shall be heading to send shortly. Hopefully he is out soon but if he gets turned down for bail again then it could be another couple of months. If anyone has anything to pass on, no matter how obscene just post in here and I will send in the next letter. Cheers.
