I wish it was a projector screen! It's my latest Xmas deco.. A garage door cover. I know some people don't like to talk about Xmas until Dec 22nd... but it's Christmas from September onwards in my hizzouse.

Here is what it looks like slumped over my couch:

Yessir! Man I love Crimbo, I was measuring it up outside and the neighbour said "you're not putting that up now are you" which makes me want to put it up now so bad.

That is Santa's workshop! Just can't see all of it as it was too big when I tried to roll it out indoors.

Blonde legend.

Has your recent £25k bink and redundancy money left you with some flexibility? Have you worked out how many months it gives you where you dont have to worry about taking a shit job or whatever?

I know lots of people who got redundancy and turned the opportunity into something big.

What sort of jobs are you looking for, if it comes to that?

Fave pizza topping?

Ooooooooooh Questions.

Massively so, my redundancy package was going to be 2 weeks pay.. (1 week per year with company, rounded down..) which would have left me in a bit of bother.

However, they were worried I would refuse to do any work or just leave before I had trained the people over from Singapore (the ones taking over my job), so they offered me a 'handover bonus' which would have seen me through to the end of the year (with a very budget Xmas). The plan was to sell the second car, take daughter out of nursery, cancel sky etc and live off the missus' wage until I either got a new job or had my business idea off the ground. After my GP bink I have been able to pay myself £2k per month until end of June, have a very decent Xmas, keep Amelie in nursery full time, splurge on decos and have a little bit left over for an anniversary trip to Paris and an ever depleting poker roll. So yeah it really has afforded me a lot of flexibility which in turn has sent my happiness meter off the charts.

It does seem to be the trend that people are prospering during times of redundancy. It basically puts you into sink or swim mode, you have to do something and do it fast. I don't know if that's what lead to me binking or what. Who knows?

I really really don't want to ever have to work for anyone or in an office environment again but the sort of things I search for that I am qualified to do are Intel Manager / analyst, Research Manager / analyst (Quant), Interpreter / Linguist marketing exec, DP exec but I don't really want to have to do any of those types of thing again.

Pizza topping is all the meats all the way! I also like to go half/half with tomato and bbq sauce base.
