also if he plays live he has to be away from his family at night, away from missus etc and its just not sociable.
online he can sit in his chair rofling around in his pants and looking at his ridiculous christmas decorations. GET DAT VALUE.
Also theres 24 hours a day online and not that many hours live.

Is live cash an option for you? Would be easier to make money than online.
well thats not particuarly true. he can make around 38 dollars an hour at 50nl on stars if he grinded to get there whichwould tkae some time, but if its a job its just like studying. Better hours, with your family, more fun?
I think it would be easier to make more money live in a 50/1 and 1/2 game, than it would in a .25/.50 game online.
Well I will respectfully disagree
Don't have to be respectful with me son. Tell me why?
The way I see it is playing live should earn more than 38 dollars per hour. Is that wrong?
yes.
Tomsom from NO cash experience is playing and winning at nl50 in what? 1 month?
He also had a lot of experience grinding decent amount of hours and being fairly decent at the pokeys anyway. Its not like a monkey learning to play from scratch. Taking someone who already appears to have the prerequisite discipline and someone who has experience winning and grinding is nothing like someone just starting out the grind.
From my experience somewhere between a £12-26 is achievable in a £1-2 game of decent size. This wasn't in London though, I imagine a higher hourly is attainable there. Hardest part of playing live would be finding a regular game that runs at decent hours for you. This is virtually impossible as friday/saturday night are always going to be the best nights so anyone who wants some sort of family life is screwed.

And he wants to be treating it as a job, not rofling around in his pants discussing eastenders with the mrs.
It's got to be easier to make money live v online.

looolz. Pretty accurate description tbf.
Right, Pleno, don't think of me as the the two times GP final tableist.., try and think of me as a fresh faced eager to learn extremely good looking poker playing robot. What should be my first move on the quest to the magical $38 per hour? Bare in mind I don't want to end up like JB though. That guy is a shadow of his former self.
@Celtic, Pleno is right, live is just not viable, it defo has to be online for me. Going to grind live MTTs @ wknds is fine but Mon-Fri has to be on the virtual felt.
@anyone interested. I should clarify that I am not a complete fish here, played pokes for > 10 years as a hobby, played MTTs (10am-6pm) for 6 months as a job (lol) avged £1200 profit per month in that period. Obv I've not played 11 million 180 manners or 14 zillion cash hands but it's not like I need a chart telling me a flush is higher than a run.
Is it pretty unanimous that people would start off playing cash?

Yessir. You've got 8 months to get to a point where you can beat 100nl. That's a lot of time. If you want this you can do it.

Oioiiiiiiii Markus Auerlieus.
GL with your health kick too mate. Get them protein cookies down ya son.
Yeah it would have been like when the streams crossed on Ghostbusters. Shit would have gotten real!
DXXX was incred, millionaire wknds then cashing rubber cheques in the spar on Monday was the nuts!
Thanks man, yeah got some cool stories speshly about Bedford (genevieves, above KFC) but can't say on here.
Gimme a shout if you ever venture to DTD or that, if not I will have to get grinding a Vegas fund for next year.
I'm going to start smashing some juices down my gregory instead, see if a bit of Sid's wisdom can help me shift the timber.
It definitely would have been a beautiful thing, but I'm not sure the Litten Tree or Mission would have been able to handle it!
Talking about Bedford, as you come down the bridge and hang a left around the one way, what is the name of the pub on your right hand side just after you turn the corner?
Unfortunately I was percy plastic with 3 bank accounts then, so I went balls out and had a millionaire year...
I only ever went in KFC, so don't even remember anything above, and definitely feel like I missed out now

Haha, I had just gone to bed and was out like a light
If you drove into Bedford town centre from Chicksands you went over a small flyover before you entered into the town. You would be looking at the main strip of pubs as you came down the hill, but at the bottom you were forced to bear around to the left and onwards around the back.
Unless my memory is gone completely, there was a pub about 100yards after you bear left on the right hand side as you look out of the window.

When I was at work I did fuck all, I'm talking Micky Flanagan old school fuck all. Missus got up at night, in morning, took her to and from nursery, put her to bed, did a full time job and made my tea. When I write it down it sounds like quite a lot. Role reversal
although it's a lot worse because she isn't allowed to nursery.
Marky, can't think where you mean. The corn exchange came to mind but doubt it's that.
