Yeah we moved down to married patch when 411 was getting refurbished then I moved back into the block once my original course left. They made me stay longer as they promised they would even though I passed the tests... I didn't mind though as I abs loved it there!
Poulton was class. Really liked him actually. Was strict and he used to rip me to shreds on Tues morning parade but I still liked him as he called a spade a spade really.
In other news I need to admit something. I am an addict!! a Bike Race app addict. If anyone hasn't played it it's incred! So simple but so addictive. I am getting my ass handed to me by kids all over the world. Any other addicts out there brave enough to come forward?
Not sure that they weren't refurbing 411 when I was there, or at least doing something to it. That said, it was falling apart and they were always at it in some way. Still you must have been there early 00s at a guess? I can still remember my course BCC 3/02
Yeah, think he liked giving the matelots shit because most of the PCTs had only been in for about a year when they went on course, and then got their rates on completion. I had done 3 years before I joined Chicksands, but that was through admin cock ups, and it probably would have been longer if I hadn' taken an extended Xmas leave in 2001/2
I stay away from the app games, I got that Lucky Birds thing, but lost patience with it rather quickly, and have never bothered since. I do like playing the My Vegas app on Facebook though, it's free and you can build up points for free show tickets, rooms etc.
Hi Mark
Just been catching up..it seems you and Milli are a good contest on "the rogue" front. They use the saying what a life on here quite often but it seems very appropriate for the military
Was it 2004/2005 we used to play together on Ladbrokes ? I'm sure you wont mind me saying you used to be " a bit aggressive " in the chat

Marky, was there twice. First time was Nov 02. My course was RUB 2/02.
Points for free shows? I like the sound of that! sure I've had some invites on fb for that. probs from you..
Oioiii Pokerfan is back in the game. Add me on fb then we can play vs each other. #appfriends
You were on course while I was there then, so we must have crossed paths at some point. Were you at DSSS during the first stint there?
I got my year 4 CTs salary when I got to Chicksands, which was just under a LH/Cpl wage, so I thought I was a milliionaire and was going mental
Yeah, you just collect chips, punt them on Blackjack or Slots and build up points. Those points can be redeemed against rooms/shows/food at MGM properties. I know how annoying it is when you constantly get invites, so I am pretty careful that I don't send them out myself.

we spoke about this when I first found out who you were on laddies I think, I knew your name and described you correctly but I didnt actually "know know you" at the time. I was at DSSS from Nov 02 til about Sep 05.
I can remember a few navy boys names that I used to knock about with but I will PM them as it's too dodge posting as they are stil in and iI'm still mates with a couple of them. Was you still there when eeveryone had to march up because of the orgy, shit on the bonnet and duck head on the car antenna? that was like my ffirst week thus Dxxx was born.

I must admit that kinda sounds like that's what I got upto in my first week. I should clarify I wasn't involved of any of that, it just so happened to be in my first week and as the military is fond of corporal punishment I also had to March everywhere.
It all sounded fun apart from the duck which I was utterly disgusted by. Never found out who did that else I probs would have tried taking their head off.
There was a game called the 100 shot challenge where you do a 100 shots of shit mix in 100 minutes. On completion you become a centurion. The only rule was that you did all 100 within 100 mins. So if you were sick, the next minute you just did 2 etc. I have only known one person not to puke. One time we added a tumbler into the equation so every 8 mins you had a glass full it was pretty horrific. In 2.5 yrs I completed the 100 shot challenge 11 times which was a record that I don't think will ever be broke. One time. we did it at 7am on a Saturday the rest of that day was utter carnage, 2 of the most legendary girls did it with us and everything got a bit crazy. On the Monday I was matched into the office and informed that I was never allowed to "host a party" again. Obv that didn't happen. Good times.
What time we gonna try and get the cash games running Dave?

Hey Fraser,
It definitely wouldn't have been good news had we been plotted up together whilst serving, that's for certain!
On the most part, it definitely is a great live. I was fortunate enough to never be exposed to the other side of things, so am in awe of the guys and gals who really do put it all on the line.
That was it, and it doesn't seem like 9 years ago now. I still remember your nicks too 'CAT-DOG and SarahJane'. Unfortunately I took a lot longer to pass the 'massive prick stage', and spent a fair bit of my 20s being a muppet

Big Game st DTD didn't go to plan. Ran bad when it mattered most. Met a couple of new faces, it forced me to put some clothes on and I got to hear the loudest fist pump possibly ever heard in the club, so all in all was pretty worth it. Thinking about going back for the iancredible100 although just found out missis' family are coming down, we were gonna see them next wknd unless I binked Eso's Wembley raffle Decisions decisions. Don't really want back to back encounters but neither do I want my balls in a vice for completely swerving them.
Need to take it easy on footy today, lost bundles last wknd.

This has been making me chuckle this morning (have to watch to the very end).
In other news off to Paris a week on Friday. Need to get some euros and some new clobber together. Anyone got any tips or know of any cool spots to visit? Never actually been before.
Apart from that I will mostly be fixing my printer, playing poker and hopefully trying out my e-shisha if it arrives today. They are supposed to contain no nicotine, no tar, no carbon monoxide, no tobacco or any other harmful substance. Hoping it helps me pack up the cigs for good.
Got schooled on Bike Race by Pokerfan.

Don't worry, I will clean up the URL for you..
Wasn't sure whether or not to book a restaurant for the second night as we have booked a boat cruise for the first or is it better to just see where you end up? That one doesn't look too bad tbf, although maybe a bit posh for me. I will have to check their cap wearing policy.
