Very productive weekend so far. Not played a single hand of poker but have reviewed a tonne of hhs which I will also get a second opinion on later. Have read the mental game of poker again, watched a fair few videos, spoke to a couple of deece players and the thing which I believe will be most important for me is I have worked on compiling a 'tilt profile'. I was going to make a funny poster of myself saying "Don't tilt" and stick it above my monitor but thought better of it.

MY TILT PROFILE

TRIGGERS:
•   People keep hitting draws against me
•   People call my 3b /4 bets and flop sets vs my overpairs
•   I keep missing draws..
•   People sucking out on me
•   Short stackers hitting ridic flops

SIGNS I AM GOING TO TILT:
•   Get angry, start swearing to myself and shouting out loud
•   Want to hit things
•   Start clicking faster and generally agitated

SIGNS I AM ACTUALLY TILTING:
•   No real thought process to my plays
•   3b/4b/5b/jam any hand pre
•   Stop caring about whether I win or lose
•   Jam every draw
•   Think about moving up stakes
•   Increase tables

ACTION TO TAKE:
•   SITOUT / TAKE A BREAK
•   TAKE DEEP BREATHS
•   WRITE DOWN EVERY TIME I HAVE GOT LUCKY IN THE SESSION OR COOLERED SOMEONE AND CONCENTRATE ON THAT

It's all pretty obvious but it's stuff I have never actually done anything other than paying lip service to in the past. Will add to it as I go along and have a print out next to my monitor. I would say at least half of my last couple of session's losses were down to just being on tilt and playing like a complete dick, with the rest being split between running bad and not playing optimally.

We'll see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully there will be a fair bit less of this:

Very impressive. You deserve to do well at this.
Good luck.

Confirmed heater;

Last Friday the estate agents reposted the original lettings advert for my house as my tenants have now bought their own house.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-29043514.html

A young couple were the first to view it this morning and snap put in an application to rent. Estate agent is just doing the background and credit checks but they said it's looking good. All being well they will move in on March 28th, 4 days after my tenants move out. wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

It's weird looking at pics of my own house that I haven't lived in for years and will probs never live in again. The garden is much nicer now btw.. It used to tilt me as my present tenants never put xmas decos up! I should see if I can get it written into the tenancy agreement.

The one in the middle, beige brick, Forgotten what they call it, Lincolnshire stone or something. If you have ever driven through Branston you would have passed it. It's the first row of houses if you are coming from Meth way, #47.

Good luck quantifying this.

Tenants shall be required to display christmas decorations for a minimum duration of 25 days, starting from the 10th December each year.  Christmas decorations must consist of at least:

1x Christmas Tree
15x Baubles
4m of Tinsel on Tree
250x Christmas Lights (On Tree)
300x Chiristmas Lights (Exterior of Property)
1x Garage Door Cover (Must display nativity / christamas scene or the like)
2x Singing Ornaments (can be mains or battery operated)
1x Holly Wreath (mounted on front door)

All christmas lights should be illuminated for a minimum of 6 hours each day.

oioiiiiiiiii readers are on the up. Obv they would have to be displayed from 1st December!

Outdoor decos are a necessity. Last fuckers didn't even put a wreath up. Was real tempted to do it myself!

Will fire an email over to the estate agents to see how feasible it is to get something like that added into the contract.

Where is Eso when you need him?

Lincolnshire limestone, that's the stuff. Apparently that is well liked around these parts or at least that's what they told me when I bought the house..

First time it went up it got like 3 requests for viewings in the same day. I wasn't massively worried tbf but I am real glad I didn't have to sweat it out til say mid March and start to worry where I was going to get the mortgage monies from..

Come December please let me know if you see any decorations or not. Smiley

Had so many painkillers and lemsips that I actually started hallucinating that I was playing Sherlock Holmes at poker HU, he was sending me on world tilt as he kept soul reading me then giving me longwinded explanations of how he knew that I was bluffing.
