Demonic16 Huh??

We are on the button, 4/16 at this moment in time. We have been fairly snug, mostly picking off the shortstacks. We 4b folded vs the bb an orbit before vs Intervntion, who seems like a good reg (India?!?).. Initial opener has been pretty tight for his stack size, running 21/14. Apart from that the majority of the table has been changing frequently as shorties go. The other table looks pretty soft, with a big stack crushing. The field looks good.

Calling feels pretty meh but can we just set-mine?

Raise can get us into a world of pain whether villain flats or 4 bets

Hate the idea of folding.

Looking forward to seeing how real players handle this

Think this is just a flat, we are 4th in the tournament and don't want to risk this. If we 3-bet and he 4-bets do we really want to get our full stack in with 10's. Think also if you flat and a A10x flop comes your in heaven but what do i know haha

Without a dynamic it's prob optimal to flat. Three bet getting it in can never be that bad tho, especially as button 3-bet wont get much credit.

I actually quite like checking behind here, as played. Opener could be trapping with a monster, we have a half decent diamond in our hand for a potential turn draw, but mainly for pot control. If it comes ace, jack, queen then whatever, folding to a bet. If not I'm calling  a delayed turn bet and reassessing river

Def flat pre imo. Check back flop cos we got a diamond and intervention in bb is pretty aggro and might coffin us.

Sorry Mid but checking back, narrowing our range and giving up a load of equity seems a terrible way to adjust to having a player in the BB capable of taking off on K83. Id just bet and probably bet, bet, shove on most runouts if the original raiser check calls, and probably call down most runouts if bb check raises.
