OK, this is my Herbie
http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=210781Not overly impressive but as is clear DTD has been a decent hunting ground for me.
On the negative side,
I've only played a handful of tournaments with a buyin greater than £100 and my main poker activity is in local games with <80 runners and <£70 entry.
I'm not accustomed to playing against the quality of field that will gather over the next few days.
I am old.
On the plus side
I played the £1MM guaranteed UKIPT at DTD last year and would have been in decent shape but for running threes counterfeiting my flopped two pair on day 2. I did have the satisfaction of taking the last of Live Boeree's chips though.
I went deep this time last year in the Caribbean in the biggest buyin tournament I've played.
DTD brings out the best in me.
There is still an element of luck.
The biggest point on the plus side however is that your money may never be at risk because I might not actually play this event. Life issues need to be resolved first.
If I play it will be day 1a tomorrow.
I won my seat but am selling 30% in total to cover the costs.
5% is £55 ( obviously I can't sell at a mark up )
10% currently reserved which leaves 20%
Feel free to laugh and point your fingers at me.
5% to Mr Moustachio
