Hand of the Day

David Manning raises

Kev Smith 3 bets

John Bousefield calls in the small blind

Manning calls

Flop K-Q-J rainbow

It goes nuts

Bousefield checks

Manning bets

Smith shoves

Bousefield re-shoves

Manning calls

The main pot is 48,000 with Manning at risk

The side pot is 60,000 and Bousefield covers Smith

The hands?

Smith J-J. Nice

Bousefield Q-Q. Nicer

Manning 10-9 suited. Nice flop sir

The flopped straight holds to treble Manning up

Bousefield makes a bit on the coup overall with the side pot and knocks Smith out

David Burghardt shoves 15x bb (12,000) UTG with 7-7

Mitch Johnson makes a brave, but probably technically corret, call with Aces

Knocks David out, goes over 90,000 and is second chip leader of the 30 remaining behind Vinson with 95,000

Who has had that sense of excellence tighty? Any early picks? In smaller fields like today I assume they stand out a lot easier.

Greek Jack 2,000 on the button at 400-800

Mitch Johnson 6,200 in the small blind. With Q-7

Call

Q-10-3

Mitch check

Greek Jack shovesville Arizona for 4x the pot, about 45,000

Mitch call for about half his stack

Jack K-J

Jack's up and down draw misses

Mitch knocks Jack out

Mitch up to 150,000 and almost certain chip leader overnight.

The path to a min-cash now well established.

Adam Reynolds has impressed me. A long time ago I played with him a fair amount at Luton, he went to bigger and better things online I think and I don't see him play live much.

The man has a presence and good reading skills from what I can see.

171,500 and big chip leader at the end of 1a

My apologies to him for the nickname that has crept into the Stars report of the day. Can't think who told them
