blinds up now 1500-3000 ra 400 as the pressure ratchets up on the shorties

We are 45 minutes into hand for hand, have had two all in and calls only.

someone's making a killing I guess

Position on three shorter stacks. Unlucky lads.

What are the chip denominations, please, Tighty, for those of us more accustomed to the DTD colours?

There is an absolute doozy of a table at the far end of the room

Charles akadiri botom left has just knocked out Devilfish, who shoved 6-6 into Aces

To Charles' left. Eames, Sly and Ellwood. Out of picture bottom right is Rupinder Bedi with 180,000

He describes it as a "tough table". Well I never

Please keep me posted on Maurice Samuels' progress throughout the tournament. He is a genuine great guy. And an absolute sicko to boot. Don't be fooled by his grey hair. He got da mooooves!

He's just lost a big one to Jamie Sykes

I didn't see it, but saw the aftermath with Sykes up to 290,000 and a second tower of blues to add to his stack

Samuels down under 100,000

Jamie can provide the details he was understandably reluctant to talk me through it when sat side by side with Maurice

Sigh for Maurice, but at least the chips went to Jamie.
