Thanks guys. Things have been a bit hectic lately so this blog has kinda taken the back burner.

Might do a report from the weekend.

Very disappointed obviously to get so near to some huge money jumps again but also so close to such a prestigious title stings a little. Basically lost a 1m pot JJ v AK all in pre vs Danny Blair to see a safe board run out till a king hit the river to leave me short then it was an uphill battle again from there.

Good news, one of our group from Sheffield Alex Spencer is chip leader so best of luck to him and also chaz would be a popular winner too. Super nice guy.

Lets now sweat Lazio and Napoli tomorrow for my football accumulators.

Didn't mention an 18 match accumulator that I won last weekend. Pretty sick to win 2 huge ones in the space of a couple of weeks. Paid for my loss at Chinese to "lolwutwasthat" haha

This Lazio game is nuts! I turned it on 15 mins ago looking safe at 1-0 then it went 1-1 then 2-1 lazio then 2-2 now 3-2 lazio within 11 minutes lol

Second bullet, starting with 50 bigs, first hand have to fold river when I r/b/b AJ on KJJhh 7xTh. So we do chunks there, then we re-jam iso over what I thought to be a worse draw than mine, turns out it was just King high beating my QJcc, and then a guy calls both our shoves with 2nd pair no kicker and incredibly holds....

Hey mate, unlucky not to run deeper this weekend. Dunno what you remember about this hand but its something like AT8dd and it goes bet/jam otf right? I really didnt like the call at the time, dunno what your thoughts are now.

Accumulator come home? Everything ok after the dtd incident?

Yeah I dontt think I'm happy with it either....

My thought process during the hand was the guy who shipped first doesn't have a strong broadway combo that doesn't 3b pre. He had 15 bigs so I imagine he would be calling pre with some small suited connectors that he doesn't wanna be all in with unless he hits a combo draw of some sorts. I thought I would be ahead with my combo draw and overs. Something I looked back as a mistake that I learnt from. Was pretty tilted from my first bullet and the previous AJ hand too. Kinda felt exhausted and made a mistake.

Congrats on the PLO FT. How did you do?

Good read so far and pretty decent winning tekkers in live cash it seems. Unlucky in the UKPC was funking for you along with a cpl of others on final day... big live score (non-vegas) doesn't seem to be far away.

Got a feeling 2014 could be a big poker year for you Wink
