On the river thought it was a fold but think i was getting 3:1 on a call and the guy was an absolute spewtard giving people chips. is checking the turn to pot control better? or do i just miss value and allow draws to see a free card? also his sizing is massive on the flop?

urgh yeah sick spot.
My thoughts would be:
pre is fine/std
flop is fine/std
turn is good too I think as his flop sizing looks weak hands and draws so best to bet on the turn with a hand this strong.
River is a sick spot when he leads, cant see myself folding in game, I do think however that a fold would be best? Looks like a flush/value hand, don't think he makes this play with any hand we beat.

yeah completely agree with you hated the river and i know it doesnt count when i bust but price was good and i though he could easily turn over KQ/Q10 maybe even like KJ or QQ/KK might be wrong here just couldnt fold in game hated the call though.

fold or maybe 3bet pre, prefer just folding I think. I think i bet the turn, his line is really scary with that flop size, I'm not really ecstatic, but there are so many draws. OTR who knows. Folding prob the best option, dont really see it as a bluff very often but wtf at the same time.

Eurgh, basically :p I prolly lean towards 3 betting this hand pre, I don't really like playing these sorts of hands post without the betting lead. I would quite happily 3 bet this, and if he calls, im playing a pot heads up in position with the betting lead, so happy days. If he folds, we've picked up the pot which is never bad, and if he raises then we can much our hand fairly happily too. Kinda feel like I lean towards the aggressive side of this sorta spot a bit too much, so maybe folding is better, idk.
Flop is pretty disgusting, really not a fan of this sizing but can't see myself folding, especially against described villain. Think we have to bet the turn when checked to, and river... Probably a fold, but I'm not sure if I would fold in game, especially against described villain.

pre - wp (all options have merits and its totally personal preference on which you would prefer, I would call)
flop - wp (cant do anything else obv)
turn - wp (def bet for protection and value)
river is 100% a fold, we just cant beat a single hand, im surprised he had as weak a hand as he did tbh.

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Big 11, stack conservation, take the gifts? Bizarrely I'd be more tempted to call pre in the big 55. Not sure I fold in game but on the forums it seems like the best decision. Completely agree with the river looking back.

Not sure about the river being a fold Tom, I don't think I ever fold here in big 11 vs someone who has a gazillion chips who is a spewtard.

I'm firmly in the fold river camp, would expect to see more flushes than Ax though.
Pre you can make an argument for either 3bet or flat, I think folding getting 3 to 1 pre in position vs confirmed spewtard is pretty bad.

Yeah folding pre flop would be ridiculous. If we opened otb to the same size it would be close but in position with this price, folding would be criminal!
I'd fold the river, I like flop and turn, sizing seemed good too.

I'd expect to see a flush here like every time.
Bizarre way to play his hand, I guess he doesn't want you to chk/back an ACE, but if he thinks you have an ACE perhaps he should do something more aggro than c/c on the turn... maybe just not really thinking about it at all lol
