Cheers for that Horsey.

Another good Wentworth story here. Robert Karlsson  holds the course record with a 3rd round 62 in 2010 but between his 2nd and 3rd round he spent 11 thousand Euros just to get to the course on time.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/golf/europeantour/7754114/Robert-Karlsson-shoots-a-course-record-of-62-at-Wentworth.html

And another.

Golf seems to be such a great medium for story telling.

Thrown a few small decent-priced darts at Wentworth:

Ross Fisher,  Danny Willett, The Goose, Cabrera-Bello, and Peter Uihlein.

Massive draw bias in favour of the early/late starters at Wentworth, 3/4 shots imo.

Two of my men withdrew injured, one after three holes yesterday.

It's all down to Rafa now.

Put a bit on Bo Van Pelt ew at 25-1.  He has been very solid first two days and could be right in the mix if he holes a few putts.

Cheers Double and great call with Todd last week. Imagine you were on Lowry at 170 and had a good ew bet in the top Irish market at 9/1 too. Running second was painful enough without running 2nd to an Irish guy tho there was a bit of top 5 at 34 too to soften the blow.

At least I got to play with the 170 thru the event but Rory was my worst result going into the last round so anyone bar him getting into serious contention would have done.

Well, you could follow the sage like advice you have been given by your inspired self, and then go and watch the bugger live get himself in contention and then blow it.

Wonderful tipping mate and v v v ul.

As I said as start of week though, look how much better we all do when not weighed down with women!

You were right mate, seems strange but might have to add becoming single just before a comp as a positive mental boost.

Lowry shot 8 under in two rounds of US Open qualifying yesterday to win the Walton Heath qualifier too so he's had some week. Was nice to see Monty finally win a big event in the US too wasn't it.

Nice only in that it might encourage him to play more US seniors events, thus rendering himself unavailable for as many weekends of TV punditry/Ryder Cup reminiscing as possible.

Lol, he's deffo a pain in the comms box isn't he tho did you see Tony Jacklin covering the Wentworth event on Sky?

That was beyond painful. Looks like Nick Dougherty has landed on his feet as a studio analyst in there now and I've been really impressed by his first few appearances and would expect him to get more work.

Nick Dougherty is pretty good, but it would be nice if he could say "always".

Jacklin is terrible, he even makes Monty look good.
