We had our Rorkes Drift dinner night the other night. Lots of memorabilia from the Battle plus some bits from the film, along with readings accompanied by re-enactments. We also had our Corps band along with a Male choir that did, among other things, Men of Harlech.
Absolutely brilliant evening and very inspiring. It was a shame I couldn't get photos of the props (big no no to have a phone at these dinners),
but the next morning I got a load of me with the rifle, helmet whilst no-one was looking before it got taken back to the museums etc
