Had years of entertainment out of the "Bushy always pays double" quote.

Also thought it was obvious that jac was very proud to be on the show, introducing his kids etc

They would have all watched it as would his friends and other family members, he actually won a tournament which nothing was said about and he biggest compliment he got was from a prostitute who said he's fat but a gentleman in bed.

Imagine it was tough viewing at the time, remind me of the film "the fighter" when it's about Christian bale being a heroin addict rather than a ex champion boxer

It was such a hachete job, I sensed that within about 2 minutes.

Catman! What a nutter he is. Probably the strangest guy I've met in poker, but actually pretty harmless and a really nice fella. He is just a big ball of uncontrollable enthusiasm most of the time, reminds me of this guy:

Charlie Kleanthous of luton cash game dramas in the london spieler featured too

That is just brutal.  Looks like the circuit was a lot more fun in those days though.......imagine rocking up for a tournament nowadays and those table from the boat being the poker tables...they look like something from a greasy spoon café!!!

Was Alan vinson (ben's dad) also present at the start of the video in the first game?  Looked like him through the smoke.

Ha, that was my first thought, too.

Also, it looked like a very young Gary Jones was in there as well.

imagine if this documentary aired now? no wonder everybody has this conception about poker players.

would be really cool to get some modern version of these.

Was it one of Jac's offices?

Thought the woman said that the kids were playing on 'his' computer.

Don't really want to watch it again to check though.

Don't the internet wizards live like this now then pads?  I thought it was just the same without the tv channels videoing it and the brass better quality in the ept stops after you have chopped up your 7 figure cashes with your swops!

Me and a few other UK regs was contacted by a TV production company to take part in a pilot.  He filmed us at DTD during a 500, lots of interviews plus some other stuff at our homes and also at Luton G.

His plan was to get away from the degen misconceptions of the game, really focus on day to day grinding etc.  He got enough footage for a pilot to pitch to various TV channels and was really enthusiastic.

Wasn't picked up sadly.

When bf had their Singapore tournament a few people were chosen for a documentary for free buyin, hotel flights etc. Was mix of people, one worked played recreationally, 1 pro who had amazing work ethic, a female vegan who was as far away from the typical poker player as u could find and I was obv "their degen". Before had cameras go to Romford dogs with me, watch me gamble online and stuff- cribs style tour of house where I lived with parents so as unballa as you can get. When we got to Singapore they filmed me and friends at the racetrack and sorted it so I presented the Singapore Derby winner- think was Derby. We bet the winner as well, and gave it a decent cheer home that the prime minister was in the box next to us and was wondering what was going on. The documentary never made it onto tv thank god as looking back would have been portrayed awfully no don't and cringe thinking about it. Think was in 2006/7??
