Thursday (1b) will be absolutely heaving, I do hope players consider playing 1a if they are able.

Really starting to worry that everyone can be accommodated on 1b, Thursday, now. Queues & waiting lists are not good for anyone, but are starting to look inevitable.

This Thursday problem is really starting to worry us though, the sheer number of players saying they plan to play Thursday is relentless.

If any players are willing & able to move to Wednesday, it would make life a little easier for all concerned.

Tikay, why don't DTD offer a slightly reduced registration fee to encourage people to play Wednesday ? Put it up by £x on Thursday and down by £x on Wednesday ?

Unfortunately, at THIS stage, I don't think it would be possible, as players have satellited in on the basis of £1,100 for either opening day, & to change it at this stage would create an admin nightmare, what with refunds & extra fees, not to say a bit of a hoohah.

Maybe, if such an occasion arose in the future, that is deffo an idea to consider.

I spoke to DTD this morning, & they are adding extra tables to the regular capacity, so fingers crossed it'll be ok.
