- Which events are you playing?

- How many do you expect for the Main Event?

- Which side events do you expect to be best attended?

Please help Rob/Nick/Simon/tikay/myself out with your answers/feedback please......

1)  Playing the main and the 6max, going to try the HR live sats

2)  I can see it hitting 700

3)  I think the 6 max will be hugely popular, I know of some people making the trip just for that without being able to play the main.

I think it'll be a real fun week, I've spoken to dozens of people about it and they are all very excited for it.

What tommy said.

I'm coming up for the 6 max. Not sure what day yet. No plans for anything else at the moment.

Main/6m/PLO almost certain. Chance of HR/HU just not sure tbh.

Playing everything except the PLO and possibly the HU. A lot of chatter about it all at the GPS this weekend and I've barely spoken to anyone about it who isnt going, think the place will be rammed

On holiday and don't get back till Thursday night so can't play the ME, fairly certain I'll be making the six max though, I think that'll be the most popular side by a long way.  Quite fancy the 500 turbo on Sunday too but will have to give it a miss cos I'll obv be shipping the six max Smiley

I'm coming over from NL, the hype is too much! Cheesy

I think the ME is going to be overflowing. I reckon somewhere in the 800 region is possible. I think the side events look fantastic with the 6max obv being a popular one.

The HU will be a lot of fun if it goes ahead but I imagine it will be a field similar to the HR- around 90% of the entrants will be people who play the game for a living. If it were to get a ton of entrants (I predict it will get 20) then I'd consider it.

I reckon the Main will get around 700 runners and my fat self will be competing on Day 1b.

Playing main, in the unlikely event that I am not pressing on to victory then I will also play the 6 max.

I can honestly see there being 900+ runners minimum for the main. Gunning for another satelite bink then I can flick in the HU for roffles.

Great feedback so far guys. Obviously if we are going to get those sort of numbers it would be a massive help if anyone can play Day 1a! We will have 350+ qualifiers, so I am optimistic of a good turnout, but I always am!. My predictions if I was betting would be 650 total - 200 Day 1a and 450 Day 1b, so 350 qualifiers and 300 direct buy-ins over the 2 Day 1's. Cheers ACES

Hi Guys,

Think I need to dampen down expectations, or if some of these expectations in the thread are correct (700, 800, 900 runners....) at least suggest you arrive early on Thursday, or consider playing Wednesday.

From what I have seen, almost everyone wants to play Day 1b Thursday, not 1a Wednesday.

Personally, I'd be surprised to see 100 runners on Wednesday, but let's assume I am wrong by 100%, & 200 players play Wednesday.

That means, for 800 runners total, 600 would show up on Thursday.

DTD are the greatest at trying to fit everyone in, but by any yardstick, 600 runners on 1b would mean the place would be rammed to the rafters, with queues, Waiting Lists & Late Regs a real possibility.

As much as anyone, I'd love to see 600-800 runners, but be aware, if that number is achieved, it wil be VERY busy on Thursday. I don't know the DTD capacity, but 600 on one day must surely be a proper squeeze?

Arrive early to avoid queues, waiting lists, & the inevitable frustrations that go with them, or maybe consider switching to 1a, though I know that is not always convenient (extra night in hotel, dead day etc).

PS - I would happily accept 500 runners right now!
