Good luck all Blondes, & exceptional luck, mars bars, fluids etc etc to Tighty. It looks amazing!

Tikay - the Burgundy jacket looks pretty clean too. No scarf though so point deducted.  After the base ball hat I was keeping my fingers crossed you wasn't going to turn up in a tie, shorts & a satchel.

Yes Tighty, we are blessed!!

Good luck all the staff too.

A player new to poker raises to 500

Sam Grafton makes it 1300

there is a caller

The player who was the initial raiser then turns his hand over - 8-8

a ruling is called for, and his hand is ruled dead - the player is completely new to live poker and qualified online. He is given a warning that if he does this again he faces a round penalty and its explained what to do next time....keep your cards down!

the flop is dealt

K-8-5

and plays out

All the other players have kept a straight face

At the end of the hand the player says "sorry, I don't know what I am doing"

Sam smiles and starts to give him some tips...

I rest my case about ipoker Smiley

One of the best British poker players people have never heard of.....

Joey Lovelady

Never heard of this Joey Lovelady but he does a fantastic Matt Lewis impression.

I haven't got a tournament system yet to identify players (Mr Matt Lewis can attest to this) but wqe've just hit the first break

We have 391 players, late reg til 8.40pm

577 runners and counting

4 exits so far today

One of these is Ali Mallu

"What's the side event tonight?"

I tell him

"OK, I am out of the main"

I gird my loins and entirely for your benefit ask the hard hitting question

"How did that happen?"

At this point mentally I pull up a deckchair, open a favourite book and imagine I am at home in the garden with my kids...a safe place..free from bad beat stories

"Well I had Ace-Ten, and I didn't feel I could fold..." he starts...

Only Alli Mallu can start an exit story with Ace ten in level 1 of a £577,000 prize pool event!
