blind on blind

Alex Spencer shoves 84dd

Joanne Ramsden has A-9 and six big blinds

Calls

Alex, with a feeling of inevitability for those of us watching, hits his flush to take us down to 10.

Marcel Luske was interviewed near me on his exit

"I was below average all day and was on the same table as the young chip leader who was opening every hand. It is not easy to find spots to accumulate chips in these circumstances. At 650,000 I was down to 12 or big blinds and needed to double up to be in contention. In the end I am happy, I performed well, it was a very nice experience. The structure was very playable. If you are a better player, it really suits you. I have been here before in big events like the World Series and the EPT and this was definitely an excellent event. Apart from the fact I lost mylast hand, it is all good"

Play is over for the day with nine left, at the very end of Level 27

I will have chip counts and brief biographies of the remaining players before I go to bed.

Good Job Rich, ta for the updates.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.
