Sky Poker's satellites to the next Main Event start tonight, and are in the lobby now

Everything feeds into the weekly final every Sunday night, which has a £220 entry. Micro satellites begin from £1.15 I believe

There is also a Freeroll at 7pm tonight, which has various satellite prizes eg 1st place wins a £220 seat into the £500k UKPC Final on Sunday. 2nd-4th tomorrow's Semi,5th -14th tomorrow's qtr-final

There will not be Satellites on Sky Poker for the Omaha, no, but I believe that once UKIPT is over, DTD will be running the "Token" system, where you win £500 or £1,000 tokens, & can store them up & use them for anything you wish, including the Sky Poker UKPC 6-Max Omaha.

I actually think the 6-Max Omaha will be a tremendous affair. No hiding place, & all that.

Tonight's Final (9.15pm) Final has FIVE x £1,000 Guaranteed seats. Seats are 1 in 5, & the Final so far has 20 runners.

Tonights winners will be the first to qualify for the UKPC 6-Max Main Event, & weekly finals to that event only will continue on Sky Poker.

Satellites to the entire UKPC 6-Max will be available soon on DTD, presumably as soon as UKIPT is completed.

Off we go, we have our very first qualifiers.

These guys all qualified last night, they are all guys who play regularly next door, & at DTD, so that's a nice start.


 The first “weekly final” took place last night on Sky Poker.

5 seats were Guaranteed, with seats costing £220, so 25 runners were needed.

The Final itself had 21 qualifiers before yesterday, 5 qualified from last night’s Semi, & one paid in direct, = 27 runners, so no overlay.

The Semi-Final feeding to it produced 9 qualifiers from 49 runners @ £48 (no overlay), so that was also pleasing.

The 5 qualifiers all play regularly both on Sky Poker, & at the DTD Club in Nottingham.

If this event is even half as good as the UKPC run last time at DTD it's going to be scintillating.  I was kinda hoping they would retire the £1k 6 max's so I could lock a title up!
