Hi all!

This is BMoney, I'm lending a hand with the live updates in the Grand Prix today. Very excited to get started, and pleased to be helping out.

Just done my first walkabout, and everyone is very focused. They seem to have cut the chit chat for now, as the card room is full of the sound of riffling chips.

There are a few big stacks thus far, all of whom seem to have about 200+:

Glenn Ashworth
Ross Patman
David Ridout
James Millard
Michael Wright
Anthony Lawrence
Kayleigh Bate
Junaid.k Malik.m

Will be back with more updates!

Tom Somerville was up to 170,000 in the early flight

lost QQ v A-10 to go right down

has just doubled to 60,000, doing his best to "bust and try again in the second flight"

He reshoved 3-3 over a raise and a shove, with that intention

the original raiser passed 8-8

3-3 beat A-K on an 8-8-x board!

funny game poker

still trying to double or try the later flight, Tom 3 bet shoves blind

Has A-K!

Loses, into the 5pm flight

Big hand! It all went by so quickly, but I have the juicy details.

Up at Table 57, things don't seem to be going terribly thrilling. Ian Gascoigne demands some action: "Come on, ladies, let's play some poker!".

Give the man what he wants. Next think I know, there's a three-way all-in between John Deabill, Sarah Evans and Gerald Luders.

The board is          three diamonds.

John turns over a pair of 7's, knocking out Sarah with a pair of 2's and Gerald with Ace-Jack.

Sam Popple is in the last hand before the break

"I always get a big hand just before a break" she tells the table

She's UTG

She looks diown at Jacks

She raises

5 callers

7-9-J flop

she leads, 2 callers

5

she bets, 2 callers again. 10500 this time

she moves all in for 28000 on the river and is called by 7-7

set over set takes her up to 115,000 in flight 2

In the 12pm entry of the Grand Prix, one of our big stacks is Craig Bennett. Very cool character. "Oh, just about 350K," he says. No big deal, you know. The average is 221K chips at the moment.

Interesting hand at Table 37 between Trevor Greenway and Carla Goddard.

Turn

Trevor shoves. Carla declares "I shall give you a spin" before calling.

River

Trevor rivers the win with QQ over Carla's J8, and has doubled up to about 100K.

Ian Gascoigne bought into flight one with 50,000 at level 8 with the intention "to get a stack quick"

In level 13 has 500,000 and is walking around to "keep out of trouble!"

UL hand for Sam Popple vs Ross Macintyre, but she's holding on!

With Aces, Sam raises to 2900 pre. Ross calls.

Ross checks to Sam, who raises to 5700. Ross calls.

two hearts

Ross checks again. Sam makes it 10700.

Ross makes puts in 15 000, and Sam calls.

He turns over . It should have been a sure thing, but Sam goes from over 100K to 55K.

any predictions on the overlay?? im thinking about 25 - 30k

there are currently 310 in the 5pm flight, open to 10pm

currently 1927 total

tomorrow? must have a chance of 800 entries. finger in the air, final day one rush etc etc

that would leave it 300 or £15k short currently
