£110 buy in tourney - level 5

Blinds 150/300 25 Ante

Villain_1 22k
Villain_2 16k
Hero 29k
Villain_1 raise 800 from EP
Villain_2 calls 800 HJ
Hero calls 800 CO
SB folds
BB folds

Flop

Villain_1 CB 1400
Villain_2 folds
Hero raises 4200 I raise as I don't really want to see anymore cards plus I have equity if called

Turn

Villain_1 instantly pushes all in
Hero calls as I feel my straight is good here a lot of the time as I think he would push with overs & flush draw on the flop

River

Pot lost to a lucky river :-(

Opinions please....could I have played this any different???

50p it seems like to me but i will try and give some thoughts.

Im assuming you had 66 with no spade? and he had flopped a set or two pair?

On the flop im happy just flatting here unless I have the 6spades which i may raise as you have. With this turn I think you have to call a raise after he jams as he can be doing this with any sets or over pairs with a spade as well as all his flush draws.

50p

Call flop. You definitely do want to see more cards. Raising only works if you plan on 3 barrelling and making him fold an over pair.

After analysing the hand this is what I thought....however, I saw this player call with an over pair after 2  all ins which I would have folded personally...

I would have pushed the turn after calling another bet I feel...I still think he calls...so probably would have ended the same way...

Thanks for the advice
