Great updates as always Tighty, hope you're still standing come Monday.

PS could you ask Drenthe to bugger off and find another mug club to pay his wages please. Ta.

Welcome to "where Pros explain"

a new segment involving Simon Deadman

He is in the small blind with  and is five ways to the flop

the flop comes

Simon checks

big blind is "a crazy polish player" Blazej Przygorzewski (saved to clipboard) who was 3rd in Eureka Vienna and supports Lech Poznan

he checks

Adam Ostrowski in late position makes it 400

Deadman with a pair and flush draw makes it 1100

Crazy cold calls

Ostrowski calls

turn

Deadman leads for 2200

Crazy calls

Ostrowski folds

river

"i put him on a set of fours and i basically turn my two pair into a bluff and donk jam my 19,000 to get him to fold"

crazy pipes up "i am crazy, i do not fold"  Nice to see the stereotype confirmed by the man himself

crazy calls with  and Deadman is down to 11,000

Deadman "yes so basically i played it perfectly, except every street"

Rick Trigg raises and Middy calls and they see a J-10-9 flop

Trigg c-bets, Middy calls

they check down the 10 turn and 9 river and Middy shows K-8, which is good

Trigg mucks, says he has 6-6

--

next hand Chinese Frankie raises, "i never fold after i have just lost a hand, call" says Trigg and Anthony Flynn calls in the small blind

they check through

turn

check from Flynn, Frankie 375, Trigg calls, Flynn calls

all to the accompaniment of Frankie and Trigg bantering like a real life Stadler and Waldorf, only in a worse mood

river

checked through

Flynn shows  and is good

Frankie flips A-K

Trigg "had that too"

"you did not"...

and then Andy Bradshaw sits down between Trigg and Frankie, as if the banter needed any more verbiage on the flames

"Hello" says Frankie, offering out his hand to Bradshaw "you think you are the best player in England but I am Chinese and I have 2 billion people behind me and they all follow me on twitter"

pause

"I am in for a fiver and playing this like a rebuy, so be warned"

Rarely, the normally loquacious Bradshaw is momentarily lost for words. Frankie has got his retaliation in first
