My fave 24 trope is the 'jack gets put back in the field' arc which is happening right now.

So there I am, watching the very tense scene where Kate is getting tortured when a piece of information my brain had been frantically searching for finally made itself known and I had to shout it out, even though I was watching it on my own.

"That's Trevor from Eastenders"

And it was. After what he did to Little Mo, I'm glad Kate stabbed him in the back.

Love 24 still, not surprised there's another mole, there's always a mole.  At least it gives Jack a side project.

Quite like Mommy Stark too, something about baddy women, quite sexy.  I'd end up being killed if I met one in real life I expect.

Quite like her 9 fingered daughter too, it's partly the super-evilness

Prefer her from Spooks/Silk.

I think we also had at least one, if not two 'We're running out of time'.

Pretty vintage 24 this week - after the stinker of a first episode it's really got into it's stride. Catelyn Stark playing whack-a-mole with missiles (Game of Drones) was hella tense.

The 'cleaner' that shot the programmer guy was the worst assassin ever - 'Yeah, totally going to shoot that guy in his right shoulder then just assume he must have died'

Rewatching season 1 at the same time as this season. Pretty funny stuff. Formulaicness on a par with house. Doesnt stop it being great fun. Loved seeing my old bridge (kentish town) in this last episode. They were always gonna get camden in for the tourists.
