I am pleased to announce the Blonde WSOP 2014 Fantasy League.
The rules.1. Entry is
FREE. Each person is allowed only one entry.
2. Entries must be submitted on this thread by:
Midday Tuesday 27th May. No late entries will be accepted - you have plenty of time to enter. You may make changes to your selection prior to the start of the competition.
See template in next post for entry form.
3. There are 6 categories below.
You must select one player from each category plus two players of your own choice from any or none of the lists, plus a captain from one of your names who will score double. You may not select the same player twice, i.e. your wild card entries must not replicate one of your other selections.
You will be allowed to make unlimited substitutions once the competition has started. The first substitution will be free but any subsequent substitution will cost 10 points. For each substitution any points accrued by the person substituted in events already started (or finished) will be retained but only points scored in later events will count for the substitute. If the person that you substitute is your captain, the player that replaces him will become your captain.
The categories have been chosen by Tighty so I accept no blame for them.
The organisers reserve the right to change the list of players in any category until the closing date of the competition. In the event of this happening anyone who has chosen a removed player will be given the opportunity to change their selection without penalty.
4. The prize for the winner will be:
A DTD tournament entry up to the value of £250 Deepstack seat (cash equivalent if distance is a problem).
This prize has been very generously donated by tikay and TightEnd.
(Prize winners should arrange details with Tighty).
5. Points will be awarded as follows:
Events No 1 to 65 from the WSOP schedule will count.
Points will be 5 points for winning, 3 points for making the final table (as designated by the WSOP) and 1 point for making the money.
For heads-up events, the 2nd to 8th place finishers will constitute the "final table".
Points for the Main Event will be 10 points for making the final table and 5 points for making the money
6. Scores will be recorded on the following spreadsheet:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdGhYZEFlTHlabWdVNWNTY2dWa3YxRXc#gid=57. I will be using
http://www.wsop.com/tournaments/ for the purposes of determining results.
8. My decision is final in all matters (until proven otherwise).
