1. Name an English County which both starts AND ends with a consonant.
No mention of current. Does it need to be mentioned? I was in the cub-scouts once, I wouldn't label myself as one today. Surely it does? I've answered the question, it was an English County that both starts and ends with a consonant! I'm within the boundaries set by the question. his RSQ, his rules Can't randomly add boundaries to the questions during the reveal! We need a Boundary Commission. Tighty knows geet loads about cricket. think he can help here. Mulhuzz, you are the Jury. Sussex- county or non county? The ball is in your court. I wanted to exclude it originally however I am suitably convinced by the idea that if you explicitly state 'current' in other questions then its absence here could suggest that any county is acceptable. I will allow Sussex as a correct answer.

I would think that an answer that gives a past English county was a good lateral way of answering the question and taking advantage of the opportunity provided by shoddy question-mastering. if you don't want a debate, don't leave a loophole

Jury decides. Sussex counts. You lucky boy. Updated league positions will be provided, as Longines now has the first answer correct with 'westmorland' aswell.
