Trying to bluff Jason Herbert

8 Max £75 at DTD yesterday. We are relatively early in the tournament, everyone is pretty deep.
I have been opening a decent amount of pots but nothing too crazy. I haven’t 3bet once yet. Jason has been fairly snug, not seen him get out of line.
FWIW, I have never played with Jason before, have very little idea of how he plays. I actually only realised who he was when he started talking about prison etc. and I put two and two together.
Blinds are 600/1200 (200). I have 80K, Jason covers.
Mid position aggro lady opens to 2400, Jason quickly calls from the hijack. I 3bet
from the cutoff to 7900. Original raiser folds, Jason calls fairly quickly.
Flop is
Jx 6x.
Jason checks, I bet 8100, Jason dwell calls.
Turn is the
giving me the flush draw. Jason checks. Pot on the turn is 38K. We have about 63K back. Thoughts on merits of betting the turn, pre, flop, sizings etc.

Any flop where I cannot beat a J vs Herbie I'm folding and feeling pretty happy about it.
Like pre, would probably cbet a bit smaller otf but just nit picking. Defo happy betting the turn now weve picked up equity, I would make it somewhere round 15k. Spike a club otr and get paid off by AJ or KJ.

think this is a pretty quick 'check and take your equity' spot.

Mid position aggro person opens, what seems to be a tight solid (?) player peels but you decide to 3bet a hand that plays extraordinarily well with these stacks multi way in position.

I don't think he's folding if he's called flop, whatever the fk he's got.
Could be the Alistair James hand, then you're in big trouble

Yeah agree with this. I don't mind the 3-bet, but my default a large % of the time here with deep stack IP in a live comp would be to peel... and be loving life

I bet somewhere between 13K-15K on the turn.
I thought there would be enough hands he would have that would get here and fold – 88,99,1010 being the main ones but also some AQ types that got stubborn on the flop. Didn’t really think he would have that many jacks, Ace jack obviously the main culprit. Unsure whether he is peeling other jacks.
I guess the mistake is pre? I thought that my hand was too weak to peel, too strong to fold so a nice one to 3ball. In game, just seemed like a perfect squeeze spot and thought I would take it down pre a lot given image. May need to rethink ranges in this type of spot. We peeling any suited aces?
