Sup y'all. The reveal will take place next Wednesday evening at 8pmish, PM me your answers by midnight next Tuesday with RSQ as the subject. Answers must be on a new line, with the appropriate numbering, if neither of these are adhered too, there will be point penalties, +3 per offence.

Your score for each question is the number of people who give the same correct answer. The answer most commonly given is called the sheep. If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score +5.

You are not allowed to do research such as using Google to come up with answers, and you are not allowed to ask others for help with your answers.  Remember, you are only cheating yourself (and your illustrious peers).

If you give an incorrect answer, you will receive the sheep score + 5 points

You MUST pass on one, and only one, question and you will receive a score of 0 for that question.

Rexas will not win, and Tomsom's answers will be changed as he still owes me 11p. Apart from that objections will be listened to, and then ignored.

Question 1) As many of you who read my blog know, I'm a great lover of the Lake District and its fells. Name of the 214 Wainwright Fells.

Question 2) I'm currently a university student at Loughborough, which isn't a Russel group university. Name one of the 24 Russel group Universities.

Question3) Its world cup year, and we did rubbish. We fared better in 1966. Name a player who started the 1966 World Cup final for England. (starters only, subs will be wrong)

Question 4) I'm also a big Golf fan, with the Open in a few weeks, name one of the 13 courses in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland that have hosted the event.

Question 5) Rehman (MassiveFish), seen in my blonde pic lives in London. Name one of the 32 Borough's of London.

Question 6) As some of you know, I spent 2 winters in Perth, WA where shark attacks appear in the news on a regular basis. Name a species of shark.

Question 7) We all enjoy a game of Poker, and its that time of year when the WSOP is running. Name a winner of the WSOP Main Event since it first took place in 1970.

Question 8 ) Cricket has always been a big part of my life, keeping on the World Cup theme, name a nation who has qualified for the 2015 cricket world cup.

Question 9) My old man has a great love for Victorian literature, and 'claims' to have read all of Charles Dickens novels. Name one of the the 15 Dickens novels (as listed on
charlesdickensinfo.com)

Question 10) According to a poll conducted by The Mirror, the average Brit has visited only 1/4 of the top 50 landmarks in the UK. Name of the Top 20 most visited sights/ places in Britain.

Good luck to all, and i repeat, this will be farcical and totally unfair. But i make the rules. Deal with it.

Hmmmm. Already entered, but the first two questions are way too specialist. Don't know any Fells, and no idea on the universities, so had to just guess one at random. Golf one too, perhaps. Rest are okay.

Not the worst set of questions we've seen recently. Will be in when I get round to it.

Meantime, Q3 reveals your youthful assumption that things have always been as you experience them. There were no substitutes allowed in '66, which was good for England because Sir Alf wasn't the best at using them.

First one is tricky, but would be amazed if nearly everyone who takes part has t heard of a few at least. The second question isn't as specialist as you would think, wanted to have a couple of tricky ones in there.

Why did you want some tricky ones in there?  To reduce the numbers who take part?

the second question is not specialist at all, but i can see the issues with the first one. assumed most may have been to the lake district/ would be able to name one of the highest peaks in the UK. can change if people want, but have had 3 entries already

I didn't say the second one was specialist.  I was asking about why you wanted to "have a couple of tricky ones" in there?

None are impossible, but would be nice to get people thinking about it and not having an easy ten questions. As I'm sure someone has ready said, these are meant to be challenging!

The challenge of the RSQ isn't being able to come up with one or two answers for a question.  The point is being able to give at least half a dozen answers (if not more) for every question, but the challenge is trying to provide an answer that's unique. So do you go for the safe, obvious choices, or do you risk a more obscure one that might be incorrect?  The skill and the challenge is trying to out-fox and out-think the others in the quiz, it's not a general knowledge quiz.

If any of the questions are too hard, then it encourages people to either abstain from the quiz this time, or they may be tempted to google.  Neither are what the RSQ is about.  Or maybe I'm on my own here?
