I was talking to someone today about whether the gps will even run next year. It's numbers this year have been destroyed for numerous reasons and it's target market of the mid buy in level attacked ruthlessly every week by the 25/25 series all around the uk. Putting the 25/25 at Blackpool on this weekend alongside the gps and the Grand Prix at dtd must be one of the worst pieces of planning ever as all 3 comps effectively target the same market and all three are in the north of England.  I think the gps is going to come out a long way third in this battle this weekend.  Given the overlays and/or massively reduced numbers at virtually every leg this year how long can the gps last?

I am pretty sure genting changed the dates of this leg after the original schedule was published when these two other events were already scheduled. You have to wonder what it going on at genting towers

It was changed to avoid the Sky Poker UKPC something I know DTD were very grateful to Genting for doing
