Kirit Patel was a stalwart of the UK Poker scene, and sadly passed away this morning after a short illness

He did not post on blonde, but was featured in a number of live updates over the years, which is where i got to know him

Kirit was extremely popular, not only in London and the South East where he began in poker and played regularly but with everyone who met him around the UK circuit

Unfailingly polite, tremendous company and a very good player.

The outpouring of emotion with his passing from his many friends is testament to this

R.I.P sir

just saw this on the gps update.  Didn't know him personally but on my odd visits to the SEast he was usually present and a lovely guy to chat to at the tables.

RIP

Well that's a terrible shock, & awful news.

As noted, a proper gentleman, unfailingly polite & well-mannered, & a pleasure to chat to, or share tables with.

RIP Kirit.

Only shared a table with him a few times, but he came across as a very friendly, and funny guy, who obviously loved the game.

Can tell from the tributes all over Facebook just how popular he was.

RIP.

Very Sad  and such a nice Guy

I spent some time with him and Sinem in Ireland a couple of years ago

Sin was very good friends with Kirit , as I understand  she was with him when he passed away so thoughts and prayers go out to everybody affected.

Rest In Peace
