Using it for 7 changes doesn't sound like a waste! Expires end of Jan anyway as I'm sure you're aware so you're not missing out on much. Personally I'm, waiting till next week to use mine as there's a 2 week gap after this weekends fixtures so wc is active for longer however I don't need to make changes for this week. Main reason it's "advised" to save your Jan wc till the last minute is to catch new signings however not that many big signings happen in Jan generally the only "value" incoming players for fpl in this window will be strikers/midfielders for lower table sides who you wouldn't wanna buy without seeing them play a couple games first, especially with the wealth of cheap forward/midfielder players currently already available! No clue what your team is like but if you feel you need 7 changes and will either be hampered by price changes or you need/want changes for this weekend coming then the upside has to outweigh the down!

i wasnt aware of that it expired at the end of the transfer window thanks for that currently my squad looks like i might just wait till after the weekend incase of injuries 3 weeks is a long time in football and someone i add to team might get injured in the internationals will be upsetting though if someones price goes up/down and i can no longer afford the squad i am planning only got £0.1 to spare de gea mcgregor hutton azpilicueta chambers baines o'shea sanchez sterling tadic ward prowse rodwell rooney pelle kane |

Take out pelle, Baines, Rooney, sterling and Hutton. Bring in players from teams with good fixtures coming up and must haves. Work in Sanchez. Aguero and hazard. Get van aamhout from Sunderland as your cheap defender instead of Hutton.

Yeah oops forgot to say about internationals! Your team looks pretty fine tbh for this week I wouldn't wc till next week cos of the injury risk you mentionned. Maybe use your free transfer on changing one of prowse/rodwell/oshea/chambers/hutton for whoever you think will do best this week which'll give you 10 players I'd be "happy" going into these fixtures with.

I'm a Baines fan too! Tho tbf he;s been awful lately (last week aside I spose) but I'm keeping too he'll come good again at some point:D Tho Mirallas playing hurts him;/ Don't agree with the Hutton hate either he's a bargain at his price and Villa have been keeping a fair amount of clean sheets (well they're not gonna score..) Not that van aanholt's a bad shout just don't think hutton needs to go:)

baines is good for the assists and bonuses and hutton aint bad either
i am loving the fact everyone is dropping pelle i think there will be alot of people transfering him in soon
i am understanding the rooney drop though with him playing midfield now but filling a strikes spot and costing a bomb
just worked out another squad i could have with bringing in 9 new players it would drop my team value from 101.2 to 99.6
now i just need to work out if i want to play wc now or wait a week

guess my experiment to fill my midfield with the best points scores and the next best strikers without the top 2 didnt work
no clean sheets at the back 1 assist in midfield and no goals must be close to a record low score
guess there will be better games for hazard, fabregras, di maria and sanchez
