Not to toot my own horn, but I do about 1/month here

http://alexgoulder.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1

No interaction tho sadly. If I didn't enjoy writing so much / enjoy life so much I wouldn't bother.

We syndicate yours on The Pokeriety, always a good read Alex.

Having just started my own I feel that it acts to benefit the blogger as much as the readers. I am fully in favour of blog interaction especially on a forum format. With regards to website blogs/wordpress etc you can't have a discussion without using the comments or linking it to social media. So why not have the social media format as the blog? Im surprised we haven't seen Facebook groups for individuals where they update their progress and life etc. Could be a way forward? Shameless plug here, if anyone wants to get in on my blog over int diaries and blogs I will always be asking questions and looking for advice cause i think the interaction is important.

I've been close to starting my blog back up or some sort of diary on here but it simply wouldn't be much fun. I've ignored pocket5s in order to keep my account names somewhat hidden. I'm not sure how much it matters but I get a lot of reads from seeing elia001 on 3 sites, and the same with a bunch of mtt regs. Cash games are a bit different but I know several of my opponents non stars names and i dont think they know mine. Even attaching my real name to my screen names could be hugely minus ev and turns out to be a negative freeroll. So know I'm posting I won some tournament on some site and got x amount. Its a bit of paranoia but I've definitely done the same to my opponents.

My favourite poker blog to read these days is
http://sevencard2003.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1

A very explicit blog about a guy who has played $1/2 nl professionally across America for 20 years+. He used to get by playing video poker+video blackjack on the side and living off the comps. Good regular read imo.

Read the first sentence and saw no capital letters.  For that reason:

Have met this guy in RL in Vegas - he played the APAT in 2011.

Nice guy but very intense, can see why he gets into some of the situations he is in. Think this is related to him being slightly (read: more than slightly) autistic.
