So it looks like a value alert is in order and there are two opportunities to play today

a) 12pm day 1 turbo, with late registration til 12.15pm

b) the day 2 at 3pm, where you can enter straight in for £300 (no re-entry) with 50x bb

Around 100 will go through from Day 1's, for £300 you can play a 1 day comp for £50,000 with approx 150 - 170 players, 35 - 40 getting paid

This week the new XXL 25/50/75 format was well received by those that played it (player numbers were mon 57/tue 72/wed 106/thu 84/fri 117/sat 88), its fun to try these new formats maybe once a month, but we are back to our traditional reload format next week.

So it goes back to old format next week it still saying 15/50/75 xxl on website

BIG GAME DAY 2 MOVED TO SATURDAY - NEXT WEEKEND:
Next Sunday at 2pm we have our DTD Pub League Champion of Champions on Sunday with 300 + Pub League players so it's not possible to deal any other tournament on Sunday afternoon, but instead of doing no event for our weekend players, we are going to move the Big Game Day 2 to Saturday and try and keep all parties as happy as possible - but it will obviously have to be a cut down version; The Big Game format will be;
£30,000 GTD (Inc 5 x Sky UKPC £1K Seats)
Thursday 9pm Online Day 1a (£100+£10 buy-in)
Friday 8pm Live Day 1b (£100+£10 buy-in)
Saturday Live Day 1c Turbo 2pm (£100+£10 buy-in)
Saturday Day 2 5pm (£300+£30 buy-in)

Just wanted to say that for a very occasional player, I thoroughly enjoyed being at DTD for the XXL on Saturday, finished about 15 places out the money but had a good run.

Also, if you are new or inexperienced at cash games (like me), give it a go.  I was fortunate enough to have a voucher that was won online which takes a bit of pressure off as it felt like I wasn't using my own cash at the tables and I had a great time.  I wanted to play longer but the table was very short handed at 3am!

Some interesting characters at the table, and a good thing to do is just listen, it can be quite funny......just wish some folk would act quicker instead of talking when it's their turn!

Hats off to DTD, keep running the satellites, so I can try in higher buy in comps or win those cash vouchers.

NEXT WEEK XXL 20 MONSTERS £20 buy in / 20k chips / 20 min clock - freeze out format with 1 re-entry - £5000 GTD (inc 10 x £110 seats )....a Club schedule a week in advance at DTD - what's going on? Had a meeting with Rob today (he's been somewhat MIA since the 21 days of the WPT) and he has told me to do this crazy 8pm tournament at the Club in the run up to Xmas starting from next Monday. A massive 250 entries needed every night at the Club - clearly impossible to achieve but he has told me to just do it.....his words " Simon - it's Xmas, just do this please - let's keep it cheap for everyone so we can see all our members over the as Xmas period and wish them happy Xmas - okay we will add a few quid but it's been a big year and everyone has supported us so let's have a fun end to it and leave some money in people's pockets for Xmas dinner, please. Plus my Dad will love this comp and I can keep and eye on his drinking when he's at the Club."
