24 played the ladies event

11 made it to day 2 today

25    1    Lynne Beaumont
25    2    Linda Iwaniak
25    3    Vanessa Haney
25    5    Renee Xie
25    6    Lauren Render
25    7    Jessica Pilkington

26    1    Ann Tillotson
26    2    Hazel Birchnall
26    3    Lorraine Wasiuta
26    7    Amanda Birney
26    8    Paula Cowling

Bugger - Natalie Bromley must have busted late. She's running so bad right now.

unfortunately she busted 12th

not good, sadly...play all day and go late.

Sadly yes. Bust the penultimate hand of the day, with 4 mins left on the clock.

I wasn't that romantic about the end-of-the-day thing tbh. I'd lost a huge pot a couple of hands earlier (flush over flush) and had found a really perfect (albeit a bit funky - Marc will be proud when I tell him) squeeze spot that would have given me a decent stack to go on for the FT with. And it sooooooooo nearly worked. Bar a clock call (by me) and a pesky river.

It's always nice to bag up, especially after a long day of play, but I'd have taken that spot at any time. Just one of those things.

Good to see you Tikay and glad you got home okay x

My mate and I are planning a trip up  in the last week of October, either the Weds or Thurs. looking at next weeks schedule, it's a headhunter Weds and 6 max Thurs. Is this likely to be the same then?

No the big WPT festival begins in the last week of October. expect a range of side events

for a non festival week before or after the WPT, yes those sort of events are a good assumption

Tx,Tighty. When's the full schedule for that week likely to be published( assuming it's not my incompetence that means I can't find it)? Seems like we've chosen a gd week to go.

Excellent. Even more ways for me to lose my money. Will keep my eyes open for schedule and plan accordingly.
Tx again Tighty.

LADIES

1    Vanessa Haney    £5,250.00
2    Lorraine Wasiuta    £3,150.00
3    Jessica Pilkington    £2,100.00
4    Amanda Birney    £1,400.00
5    Hazel Birchnall    £900.00

Well played Amanda Birney, on my table for most of the first day of the Goliath and a known face from a couple of my local tourneys

Good with table banter and a pleasure to play with even if she did get dealt kings 7 times within the first 6 levels at Cov   Grin

Could still see right through her 'Oh aren't I just a lucky woman' act though Smiley

She was a regular in the afternoon and evening comps at J10 a decade ago - maybe still is, I haven't been back in years.

Lovely lady.
